About Us

Our Profile

Organisation Profile

The Water Therapy is a community and public health promotion and research-based organisation located in Gyatekrom, Winneba, Central Region, Ghana, focused on cardiometabolic disease, disability, and death prevention through the medicinal and healing power of water. We work at the intersection of research, education, and community practice - publishing findings, running outreach programmes, and helping people understand Japanese Water Therapy responsibly, alongside the wider field of water-based therapies.

Water therapy is at the heart of this lifestyle, preventive medicine, and regenerative health model. The model recognises water as a powerful symbol of physical healing, cleansing, and renewal.

Our Philosophy

“Ideal Health and Wellness through the Power of Water in Recovery, Healing, and Cure.”

“Drinking Water for Therapeutic Benefits is a Lifestyle, Preventive, and Priceless Medicine.”
“Food and water are necessities of life. For this reason, we eat and drink for health and life. The caveat is what to eat and drink, when to eat and drink, how to eat and drink, where to eat and drink, and why eat and drink.”
