Cardiometabolic Epidemiology Research and Laboratory
Cardiometabolic epidemiology research sits at the core of The Water Therapy's work. Led by Augustine Mac-Hubert Gabla, this research programme studies Japanese Water Therapy and cardiometabolic wellness through a research-based lens, rather than treating the practice as folklore or anecdote.
The programme is organised around The Water Therapy's broader mission of advancing cardiometabolic wellness through JWT research and education, based in Winneba, Central Region, Ghana. Research activity supports the evidence base behind the organisation's community, school, and clinical programmes, and helps distinguish traditional-use claims from claims backed by formal study.
We welcome interest from academic and research partners who share this focus. Enquiries about ongoing studies, collaboration, or data access can be directed through the contact options below.
